Who We Are
USA Blackjack Sites is an independent review team covering online blackjack for players in every U.S. state. We are based in Thomasville, Georgia, with a core team of five and a rotating group of research interns from Florida State University who help with fact-checking and law tracking. Between us we bring more than 35 years of combined experience at the blackjack table, in both live casinos and online, and every member of the team plays the game we write about.
That last point is the one that sets us apart. This is not a marketing operation that decided blackjack looked profitable. It is a group of players, editors, and researchers who were frustrated by how hard it is to get a straight, current, state-specific answer to one question: where can I actually play online blackjack from where I live, and is the site any good? We answer that question for a living, and we hold ourselves to the standard we wanted as players.
What We Do
We review the online blackjack sites available to U.S. players, both the state-licensed operators and the offshore sites that accept Americans, and we explain the legal picture in each state so you know which options apply to you. Every recommendation is grounded in hands-on testing and measured against a consistent set of criteria, so a rating on this site means the same thing from one review to the next.
Alongside the reviews, we maintain a guide for all 50 states and Washington D.C. Online gambling law in the United States is decided state by state, changes often, and is widely misreported. Keeping that coverage accurate and current is half of what we do, because a site recommendation is useless if it points a player toward an option that is not actually available, or legal, where they live.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple to state and hard to do well: help players find online blackjack sites that accept them in their state, and keep them informed as the law and the market change. When a state launches a regulated market, revises its rules, or a major operator enters or leaves, we update our coverage. We would rather revise a page repeatedly than leave a reader acting on information that is a year out of date.
How We Review
Our reviews are hands-on, without exception. We fund real accounts with our own money, claim the blackjack bonuses, play across both RNG and live dealer tables, contact customer support with genuine questions, and request withdrawals so we can report how quickly each site actually pays. We never rate a site we have not used, and we never rewrite an operator’s own marketing copy and pass it off as a review.
For the legal, regulated market we go a step further and test in person. Several times a year we travel to New Jersey, home to the most developed online casino market in the country, and spend those trips playing at the licensed sites: signing up, depositing, working through the bonuses, sitting at the tables, testing the apps, messaging support, and cashing out. We take notes on everything that works and everything that does not. That first-hand experience is the backbone of our legal-site reviews and the reason our write-ups include detail you will not find on a spec sheet. Offshore sites, which are not tied to any single state, we test remotely the same way a player would.

Five people research, write, edit, and test everything you read here. Between us we cover the writing, the mathematics, the law, and the play itself, from cash tables to tournaments to live dealer.
From Tallahassee, Florida, and a Florida State University graduate. Lorcan has played blackjack for a decade, starting on the tables at Hard Rock Tampa before moving much of his play online. He leads a lot of our site research and writing, and he has a particular eye for the difference between a bonus that looks good and one a blackjack player can actually use.
From Inverness, Florida, with 15 years at the blackjack table. Brian is our editor and a former mathematics instructor at Tallahassee Community College, which is exactly the background you want on someone checking claims about odds, house edge, and payout math. Online, he plays live dealer blackjack almost exclusively and reviews our live-table coverage personally.
A University of Michigan graduate and a paralegal by training, Amanda tracks state blackjack and online-casino law so our state coverage stays current and correct. She brings five years of online blackjack experience, a love of tournament play, and the habit of reading the actual statute rather than someone else’s summary of it.
A 2025 University of Georgia graduate with a degree in communications. Marcus grew up playing cards with his family and brings two years of online blackjack experience to his writing and research. He handles a good share of our state guides and keeps our explanations clear for players who are new to online play.
A Valdosta State University graduate with five years of online gambling experience. Ricky focuses on live dealer blackjack and the overall casino experience, from lobby to cashier. He will happily tell you he likes craps even more than blackjack, which makes him a useful, skeptical second opinion on whether a casino is genuinely good to play at.
